For those that fimiliar with SIGARMS products. Do you think they have gone downhill in terms of quality? Lately I’ve notice a lot of people (mostly LE officers) talk about poor Quality Control of SIGARMS.
It seem like the US branch of SIG isn’t as high quality as the German branch (J.P. Sauer&Sohn)
I have never been a big fan of Sig.. But I have to agree they have gotten worse.

It seems like it sadly has- at least in the U.S. I own many SIG SAUER guns (notice I didn’t say SIGARMS- the "new" name) and they are all as tight and accurate as the day I bought them, and are among the best firearms money can buy in terms of performance, accuracy, reliability, and longevity.
As far as the new SIGARMS stuff goes, my LEO compatriots and ex- and active duty military friends agree that the "new" U.S. made SIGARMS stuff has dropped a few notches- nothing horribly wrong, but not up the the standards one is used to from Switzerland/Germany- the land(s) of precision. They are still much better than 90% of the crap out there, but I will not buy a new gun from them until I hear that Q.C. and reliability has improved.
Of course, there’s still H&K, the Colt 1911 and it’s many custom variants, Glock, and S&W revolvers (only, no semis) if you want rock-solid performance and quality, and I’m sure SIGARMS will get their SH*T in gear and improve, or else they’ll loose lost of customers, like the U.S. Gov’t, P.D.’s, etc
***UPDATE – Just shot a new SIG 556 S.W.A.T. Model rifle, which while based on the Swiss-made 550 series, is (as far as I could tell) manufactured completely in the U.S. and it shot like a dream. Accurate as hell, brilliant, crisp two-stage trigger, just wonderful in every way. AND, SIGARMS U.S. is now changing its name BACK to SIG SAUER. There may yet be hope…
